Korokoro
This hill suburb of Petone has a history going back to the early 1900's. Often bypassed on the way to/from Wellington, there is a variety of walking tracks through bush clad hills and breath-taking views from lookout points over Wellington harbour. Indeed, these bush walks may be the most under-rated in Wellington.
