Arrowtown

Arrowtown is a historic former gold mining town located on the banks of the Arrow River.

Like nearby Queenstown, Arrowtown is surrounded by spectacular scenery. Though in contrast to Queenstown, Arrowtown has a tranquil atmosphere focussed on arts and crafts along with quiet walks around its tree lined streets and historic buildings.

For the more adventurous, the area around Arrowtown offers plenty of walking and biking tracks.
